Carlton also to begin the season have been very restrictive in the midfield so if he does spend a little more extra time in there it is still a good play.

It makes too much sense that the Dockers would send Hayden Young to Dawson today. The Crows have been struggling with their delivery inside 50 due to the poor delivery and Dawson is the only player with the ability to consistently hit a target. He's also their best leader and will be the one leading the charge to get them out of the 0 -2 hole so needs to be stopped for the Dockers to win.

Jye Amiss

Don't have much faith in the Crows backline, particularly the kick backs. I think we'll see a trend this year where they give up a lot of goals to key forwards. Hawkins kicked 4 last week and while Amiss is a different player he plays the same deep forward role. He only managed 1 goal last week but still had 4 shots and more often than not he is a very accurate kick. Back at home I expect him to play a prominent role in Freo kicking a winning score.
