The Dees have come off 3 very tough uncontested possession matchups in a row with two Adelaide night games and a night game against Brisbane which are always tough to get your hands on the ball in. The Tigers midfield is decimated even with the return of hopper and these two will be keen to bounce back after a tough loss to the Lions and the break.

After a few years of being one of the best teams to defend halfbacks the Swans have change their system and turned into a low pressure team in their forward line. Scrimshaw enjoys the wide expenses of the MCG and has taken on more of a designated kicker role in the last few weeks.
